Milman Transport

5-star Google reviewView reviews on Google

A crane truck and transport business looking for a simpler way to track work and make invoicing more efficient.

“It saves me 5-6 hours a week. Friday afternoons used to be admin and invoicing — now it's just done.”

— Grant, Milman Transport. Customer-reported savings.

The challenge

Keeping track of jobs and preparing invoices was taking time away from running the business.

What we implemented

BTN implemented Diffuse to manage jobs, with a Xero integration to connect the operational and accounting workflow.

Working together

Milman is a paying pilot customer. BTN continues the relationship as the solution develops around the business’s needs.

Albright Electrics Pty Ltd

5-star Google reviewView reviews on Google

From email alerts to scheduled work and draft quotes, with Adam’s own business rules built in.

The challenge

Automated email alerts were still creating manual work: reading each alert, adding it to the calendar and deciding which resources to schedule. Preparing quotes also meant drawing on past jobs and applying the right pricing for each type of work site.

Email alerts turned into scheduled work

BTN built a workflow that reads Albright’s automated email alerts, adds the work to a calendar and automatically schedules resources. It applies the same rules Adam would use to make those decisions manually, shaping the automation around how he runs the business.

Draft quotes built from job history

BTN also created a quoting workflow that draws on Albright’s history, with different pricing profiles for different types of work sites. When an email arrives with scope details, those details can be fed into Diffuse to build a draft quote. Diffuse then guides Adam through anything that needs his review before the quote is finalised.

More time back each week

The scheduling workflow saves Adam hours each week that he would otherwise spend processing alerts and organising resources. Quote preparation starts with a draft based on the business’s own history and pricing, with Adam reviewing the details that need his judgement.

The customer's experience

The owner reports that BTN understood the business and provided patient, supportive and accommodating service. Their feedback describes significant time savings, with more time for family and improving the business.

Working together

Albright is a paying pilot customer, with close collaboration shaping the implementation around Adam’s requirements.
